Recognition of prior education

Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal recognition of the skill and knowledge students have achieved through their previous education, work and life experience, to determine whether this could be worth credit in lieu of study. Credit Transfer is where a student’s previous formal study is assessed to demonstrate if learning outcomes can be met and transfer of credits can be made from one course to the other.

Accreditation: Graduates of Architecture and Design programs are eligible for the Architects Accreditation Council of Architecture (AACA) for the purposes of registering as Architects. Details of AACA requirements are available at the AACA website.
Further Education: Upon completion of the course, students are eligible to further pursue Masters or PhD in various Design or Management related courses.
Employment opportunities: Graduating students can take up a career in architecture, interior designing, landscaping, urban planning, furniture and industrial design, teaching, research, construction management, conservation etc.
